In Sweden we have a unique opportunity to exploit nature – Right of Public Access, but then you must also know what you can and can not do. “Right of Public Access – a unique opportunity” is a very good brochure from the Environmental Protection Agency about this. In the Helge Å system you must also have so-called “overnight-checks” to be allowed to stay at designated rest areas. Groups may only use these rest areas while alone canoes have a little more freedom.
