Såganässjön is well suited for a bath or two before you continue paddling, there is also the opportunity to paddle to Linnaeus Råshult. At the bridge between Såganässjön  and Kattsjön, on the west side, it is possible to place the canoes and then walk less than a kilometer. Linnaeus Råshult, where Carl von Linnaeus was born in 1707, is today a cultural reserve with trails, houses and gardens. Here you can also enjoy a KRAV-certified coffee in the garden café. Ice cream and lunch buffet is also available, however, the cafe is closed on Mondays.

The canoe trail continues through Kattsjön towards Diö where you pass under the southern main railway line and Linnéleden (Route 600). In Diö there is a power plant, which forces you carry the canoes a short distance (about 150 m). After the bridge keep right after the little island, take up the canoes and carry them according to the signs. If you want to be picked up in Diö, stay by the road and we will come and pick you up.
In Diö it is possible to sleep at the hostel in the old railway station or take the bus or train to Älmhult, Ljungby and Växjö.

To get to the rest area, follow the shoreline north a few hundred meters to Diö badplats, where there are barbecue facilities, toilets, wood, rubbish and water. In Liatorp is an ICA store, miniature golf and a restaurant.
