Välje badplats offers toilets, changing cabins, campground, barbecue areas, shelters, rubbish, wood and water. Starting from Välje you paddle on the lake Virestadsjön for about 4 km. In windy weather, please follow the shoreline to avoid open sea, pick a side, depending on the wind. The outlet to the Helge Å is located in the southwestern part of the lake, take a aim at a phone mast in the distance.
Helge Å runs through a changing landscape of forests and pastures. Just before the county road 120 (bridge in Bråthult) is Bråthult rest area on the left side of the river. There are grill, tent, rubbish, wood and toilet at this rest area.
